Reach Giving World Percussion at 407-374-DRUM(3786) or email Jason@GivingWorldPercussion.com. Most work takes approximately 1-2 weeks. Turn around time for drum repairs may be affected by shipping, availability of customization materials, and/or orders on hand at the time of your order. GWP also offers many customization options: rope color, wood stain, painting, ring color, etc. Our $100 head replacement and tuning package includes:
GWP provides the new head which is a high quality goat skin. For an extra $15 they will fit your djembe with premium quality goat skin which is thicker and sounds fuller when played. It's also more durable. Cow skins for large solo djembes are also available. After years of use any rope begins to fray and loose strength. Giving World Percussion offers durable low stretch ropes in nearly any size and color. All rope is high quality 100% Polyester with less stretch than most nylon cords. The following prices are based on an average djembe with 24 cradles, 12" diameter, and 12" vertical ropes. Standard Black 4mm - $25 MBS 517 lb There is an additional charge of $20 to re-fit your djembe with entirely new rope including rings. Shipping costs are not included in repair pricing. Please contact GWP at (407) 374-3786(DRUM) or visit www.GivingWorldPercussion.com for information about additional work including ring and shell repair.
