LP Galaxy Giovanni Series Wood Bongos are the finest wood bongos in the music world today. Crafted of sonically superior North American Ash, they have been manufactured to ensure virtually invisible glue joints. 7 1/4" and 8 5/8" natural rawhide heads have been hand picked for quality. Steel backing plate helps avoid cracks from occurring in the bongo shell that can develop when Salsa genre players drop their bongos to the floor to switch to bongo cowbell.
These bongos feature 5/16" diameter tuning lugs carefully formed to hug the shell and are complemented with plated cast aluminum bottoms. They have LP Comfort Curve II Rims and are available with gold tone or chrome hardware.
