Toca Bata Drums are designed so the shorter shell section enhances the high end tones and the extended long section of the shell produces unmatched bottom end. The drums are finished in a rich red lacquer finish and have matched bison heads. Available in 3 different sizes - Iya (Large; 7"&12" heads, 29" tall), Itotele (Medium; 5.5"&8.5" heads, 26" tall), and Oconcolo (Small; 5"&7" heads, 22" tall ).
These drums are sold individually. This listing is for the Large Iya drum only.
Toca is committed to being green and environmentally-friendly. The wood we use is harvested from a plantation in Indonesia, where our drums are then lathed and handcrafted by local musicians. This carefully managed resource is much easier on the environment than wood taken from primary forests.
